Five Reasons I love making healthy food choices – Why?

It is not easy to make healthy food choices. There are countless commercials and advertisements touting the health benefits of eating unhealthy foods. This is American life: live, work, eat, and do it as fast as possible. “Damn the consequences. Full speed ahead!

You can get worse results. It was a long trip down the highway, with sirens blaring and lights flashing. The paramedic fed me nitroglycerin. It was not a fun trip, in fact it was quite scary. It did catch my attention.

As a sixty-five year old man, I was not ready to ride a rocking chair that would just die. I wanted to be happy, productive, and live a full life. I made the decision that I had to make changes in my life if I want to live.

My first priority was to make changes in the way I eat. You are what you eat. You will be unhealthy if you eat junk food. Change is not something that I can do easily. Here are some reasons why I choose to eat healthy foods.

Look at the ingredients on the food you’re about to give your family. Take a look at the ingredients and preservatives used to prevent it from spoiling.

Why would they change the name of their sawdust to something they don’t understand if they’re putting it in your food? They don’t have to tell you that they are putting sawdust into your food, do they?

This is why I support healthy food choices. You shouldn’t be exposed to all the chemicals and preservatives found in processed foods.

2 I Want To Enjoy The Flavor

The flavor is one of the main reasons I make healthy food choices. I love to taste food. I love the rich flavor of fresh fruits, vegetables. Many vegetable dishes are served with mushrooms soup or cheese sauce. This is because canned vegetables have no flavor. To add flavor, you need to have something.

Fresh green beans are a great choice. These beans are full of flavor and delicious, as well as being rich in good for you nutrients.

Wash an acorn squash and put it in the microwave for 2 to 3 minutes. Split the skin until it is soft. Add a little butter to each one. You will have a delicious food that is great for your health and tastes amazing.

3}I Choose To Eat To Live Longer

These days, obesity and the associated health problems are in the news a lot. This problem is growing from children to adults as more people eat fast food for lunches or dinners.

Obesity can put a strain on your heart and make it work twice as hard for you to function properly. High blood pressure can lead to all kinds of complications, which cannot be reversed. Diabetes, which is on the rise in America, is also directly linked to obesity.

Healthy eating makes me feel happier and gives me more energy. Studies show that healthy eating habits can help you live longer and prevent you from developing health problems.

I want to be able to spend time with my grandchildren, and hopefully their children one day. This is possible, so I choose healthy eating to spend as much time as possible with my grandchildren. I believe eating healthily can help you live longer.
